Dave’s life changed instantly when his wife, Lynn, had a brain injury.

Length of time in ICU: 4 weeks

Length of time in rehab: 2 months

Dave talks about all the rollercoaster of emotions he felt from when Lynn had her stroke, to when he was waiting for her to have an operation in ICU. He also talks about the life changing philosophy that he formed to help him get through and how he supported Lynn in the best way he could.

When Lynn woke from her coma, Dave helped her communication by giving her a whiteboard and marker to practice writing words he said.
